Each consultations begins with a comprehensive assessment of your horses individual needs. We will discuss their current training program, behavior patterns or any areas of concern. A hands on evaluation will take place next. Your horses posture, muscle tone, areas of sensitivity and tension will be uncovered.
This assessment will be helpful in creating a tailored massage and bodywork plan that is designed to support your horses performance and overall comfort.

Training
This consultation offers a unique approach integrating foundational horse training with the principals of equine biomechanics and anatomy. This understanding of how your horse thinks, feels and moves allows us to create a tailored training experience that is effective, kind and sustainable.
We’ll start with an in-depth observation of your horses posture, movement, and their emotional state. As a certified equine massage therapist I will be able to identify areas of tension, over development or under development of muscles and bring insight on how these imbalances are manifesting into a decrease in performance and willingness.
You will get thoughtful feedback on what training exercises or bodywork would be helpful in supporting your horses mental and physical well-being.
This consultation is for owners that want more than just another “method” and want a meaningful, responsive relationship with their horse. Both horse and rider will have their communication patterns, physical balance and overall harmony assessed.
You will gain in depth knowledge of your horses emotional and physical cues, improved body and breath awareness and develop softness, timing and feel.
