Grooming with Purpose Neck

Here is the technique for grooming the neck with purpose. The horses neck is spectacular structure used for reaching down to eat, it displays emotions as a high head carriage is a horse at attention, a lower carriage can indicate a calm state of mind and stallions may whirl their head and neck around in a display of dominance. It also is used for balancing for things like jumping over something or turning. We have muscles that help raise the neck and attach it to the body like the splenius, rhomboideus cervicis and the longissimus capitis, which also extends the head neck. Warming up this area and preparing it for the work ahead is so important for this highly mobile structure.
